Asento-XL-Seat
Accessibility and simplicity blended into one, unique mobility solution. A transfer board that takes you from the floor of the vehicle up to the driver’s (or passenger’s) seat. Complete with a retractable support arm and an easy-to-use hand pendant.
Designed for the driver and front passenger positions in Minivans, Pickup Trucks, SUV’s and some Crossovers with no structural modification to your vehicle.
The original seat remains intact. The compact unit does not affect any of the seat features, including the recline, or forward and aft movements. The transfer board can be removed to allow easy access to other drivers.

- Available door entry must be at least 3 ½ inches wider than your wheelchair at its widest point
- Rider must be able to sit upright inside the vehicle with a minimum of 1-inch headroom.
- Most chairs will work, however chairs cannot exceed 39 ½ inches long.
- If you have a scooter, please let us know the type and length and we will let you know the requirements.
- Child Inserts, or oxygen tanks on the back of the chair can cause balance problems. Please let us know the specific type of chair and van that you intend to use and we will let you know the feasibility of Superarm use.

Simply transfer the Milford Person Lift from your vehicle to the Milford SmartBase unit and create the perfect mobile lifting solution.
Highly adjustable, superbly maneuverable and supplied with a rechargeable battery unit, our portable SmartBase enables you to use the person lift to transfer from one seated position to another; wheelchair to armchair, toilet, bed, etc. at home, in the office or even in a hotel.
We also offer a practical optional extra; the wall bracket, ideal for use in the bathroom or stair landings.

Foot and Hand Controls
The VEIGEL Classic II
Veigel hand controls offer more legroom and improved adjustability of the driver’s seat. Classic series hand controls allow for convenient control of brake and gas with the right hand. VEIGEL Classic II is designed to match the interior equipment of modern vehicles. The hand control is operated by turning/pushing.
When developing the VEIGEL Classic II, special focus was given not only to improved adjustability of the driver’s seat and increased legroom but also to simplified foldability by means of a lock lever, making changes from drivers with disabilities to non-disabled drivers much easier and quicker.
To accelerate, turn the handle clockwise. A slight forward push activates the brake which may also be locked effortlessly.
The ergonomic handle and the adjustability of the handle angle enable the different drivers to accelerate easily and effortlessly.
The VEIGEL Basic
PUSH TO BRAKE, PULL TO ACCELERATE
The Veigel Basic is a price conscious alternative to the Veigel Compact II. The design is based upon the original Compact version I and does not utilize an additional pivot point for acceleration. This simple reliable design provides makes for safe comfortable driving. The Basic comes standard with a synthetic leather cover to help integrate the hand control with the vehicle interior as well as a comfortable soft grip knob. The Basic is versatile as well, the soft grip can be easily changed to any of our orthotic steering devices allowing you to match the control to your level of strength and dexterity.
The VEIGEL Compact II
PUSH TO BRAKE, PULL TO ACCELERATE
The second offering in the line of Veigel right hand controls is the Compact II. The Compact II provides a slim design to fit better in today’s newer more compact vehicles. The unique push pull motion prevents simultaneous use of the gas and brake making it the safe choice for older drivers. The second pivot point for acceleration allows for more range of seat positioning when compared to traditional right hand push pull hand controls.
Mechanical Left Foot Accelerator
Our Mechanical Left Foot Accelerator is fitted when a driver is unable to operate the gas pedal with their right foot. The acceleration is transferred from the right pedal to the left pedal and is an ideal solution for many.
We install this with a built-in pedal guard that prevents the original pedals being pressed accidentally for increased safety.
Not only that, the mechanical left foot accelerator is installed using our quick release base – making it easy to remove for other drivers.
Pedal Extensions
The Veigel Pedal Extensions can reduce the distance to the pedal from 2″ – 8″. Utilizing the same quick release system as the Veigel Pedal Guard, our pedal extensions can be removed in seconds without the use of tools. Extensions can be used for accelerator, brake and clutch.
